##Game Summary Pitch

Christie the Redeemer is a top-down, story-driven game. Christie's town is under attack from Satanists who are using it as a base for their unholy rituals. 

##Player Experience

The player will have to kill cultists and their ritualistic summoning portals across 2 levels, with advice and instruction given by Christie's guardian angel, who looks a lot like Christie, oddly enough. 

The gameplay can get challenging if the player lets the enemies build up too much, giving some level of challenge, whilst still being easy enough to enjoy for even the most casual gamer.

The game is developed to be released on Windows PC

#Concept

Gameplay overview

The player controls a single character, Christie. Initially, Christie is armed with a pistol but soon replaces this with powers gained from her initial meeting with her guardian angel. 

The player moves with WASD, and aims with the mouse, using a left click to fire a bullet/holy bolt. 

When killed, enemies have a 5% chance of dropping 1 of 4 powerups. 

YELLOW - Holy Power Regen Bonus - 10x Holy Power Regen for 30 seconds.

PINK - Attack Speed Bonus & Holy Power Refresh - 2x Attack Speed for 30 seconds and refills the player's Holy Power bar. 

BLUE - Speed Bonus - 2x movement speed for 30 seconds. 

GREEN - Health Boost - 50hp restored to the player. 

##Theme Interpretation

‘It's Spreading’ interpretation - The game is set during the spread of "Satanic Panic" in the USA. This game is an alternate take on whether Satanism was as bad as the media had said it to be.

As I am not a designer by any means and have never used Blender before this project, I know I will not be able to create an amazing-looking game. So I will go for a simplistic approach to character models and animation.
